Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of India. The organisation is involved in science, engineering and technology to harvest the benefits of outer space for India and the mankind. ISRO is a major constituent of the Department of Space (DOS), Government of India. The department executes the Indian Space Programme primarily through various Centres or units within ISRO.
ISRO was previously the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR), set up by the Government of India in 1962, as envisioned by Dr. VikramA Sarabhai. ISRO was formed on August 15, 1969 and superseded INCOSPAR with an expanded role to harness space technology. DOS was set up and ISRO was brought under DOS in 1972.

Qualification:
Graduate Apprentice:
- BE. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. Or equivalent qualification in the respective field with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10 point scale as declared by government recognized University / Board / Institute.
- Graduation in the respective field with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10 point scale as declared by any recognized University / Board / Institute.
Technician Apprentice:
- Diploma in Engineering / Technology with first class by recognized State Board of Technical Education .
Trade Apprentice:
- SSC / Matriculation / 10th And ITI (NTC /STC)
Notes:
- Candidates who have completed three years on the date of joining apprenticeship training after acquiring the prescribed qualification (Degree/Diploma /I.T.I.) are not eligible for apprenticeship Training. Candidates who have passed Degree/Diploma /I.T.I. in relevant field in/after November 2020 are only eligible to apply. The tentative date of joining will be Nov/Dec 2023.
Experience: Freshers
Age Limit:
- Graduate Apprentice: 18 – 28 Years
- Technician/Trade Apprentices: 18 – 35 Years
Age Relaxation :
- For 03 years in case of OBC
- For 05 years in case of SC, ST candidates.
- Age relaxation for PwBD candidates is as per Govt. of India rules.)
Salary:
- Graduate Apprentice – Rs. 9,000/-
- Technician Apprentices – Rs. 8,000/-
- Trade Apprentices – Rs. 7,700-8,050/-
