Currency Note Press, Nashik (‘CNP Nashik’) prints high quality banknotes for the Government of India. While initially established in 1928, the production facility became a unit of Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) during corporatization in 2006. Located at Nashik road, the campus is spread over in an area of 14 acres, and is equipped with state of the art IP surveillance System. The press also has a residential complex with well supported infrastructure.

More than 40% of Currency Notes circulated in India are printed by CNP Nashik, and its sister unit, Bank Note Press, Dewas. The press has fool-proof accounting of security items, complemented by a service department to ensure maximum in-transit security. At present, employee strength is more than 2,000. The turnover of the unit in FY 2016-17 was Rs 1,100 crores. CNP produced 4,872 million pieces of different denomination of Bank Notes in FY 2016-17.

Qualification:

Supervisor (T.O – Printing):

• 1st class full-time Diploma in Engineering (Printing) or
• Higher Qualification i.e. B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc (Engineering) in Printing will also be considered.

Supervisor (Official language level A1):

• Master’s Degree from a recognized University/Institute in Hindi or English with Hindi/English subject at Graduate level (i.e. Hindi In case of the candidate in postgraduate in English & vice-versa.) and
• One year of experience in translation from Hindi to English and
• Desirable: Knowledge of Sanskrit and/or any other modern language
• Proficiency in working on Computers in the Hindi language

Artist (Graphic Design)/ Level-B 4:

• Bachelor of Fine Arts /Bachelor of Visual. Arts/Bachelor of Vocational (Graphics) with at least 55% marks in Graphic Design/Commercial Arts.

Secretarial Assistant/Level B-4:

• Graduate in any discipline with at least 55% marks
• Computer Knowledge
• Stenography in English or Hindi @80 wpm and typing in English or Hindi @40 wpm
• Desirable: Proficiency in Secretarial jobs

Junior Technician (Workshop- Electrical)/ Level-W-1:

• Full-time certificate recognized from NCVT/SCVT in Electrical Trade

Junior Technician (Workshop- Machinist)/ Level-W-1:

• Full-time ITI certificate recognized from NCVT/SCVT in Machinist Trade.

Junior Technician (Workshop-Fitter)/ Level-W-1:

• Full-time TII certificate recognized from NCVT/SCVT in Fitter Trade.

Junior Technician (Workshop- Electronics) / Level-W-1:

• Full-time ITI certificate recognized from NCVT/SCVT in Electronics Trade.

Junior Technician (Workshop- Air Conditioning) /Level-W-1:

• Full-time ITI certificate recognized from NCVT/SCVT in Air Conditioning Trade.

Junior Technician (Printing/ Control)/ Level-W-1:

• Full-time ITI certificate recognized from NCVT/SCVT in printing trade viz viz. Litho offset machine minder/ letter press machine minder/offset printing/plate making/electroplating/Full-time ITI in plate maker cum impostor/hand composing OR Full-Time Diploma in Printing Technology from Government recognized Institutions/ polytechnics.

Experience: Freshers/Experienced

Age limit (as on 18 November 2023): 

• Supervisor: 18 – 30 years
• Artist: 18 – 28 years
• Secretarial Assistant: 18 – 28 years
• Junior Technician:  18 – 25 years

• Supervisor: Rs. 27,600 – 95,910/-
• Artist: Rs.23,910 – 85,570/-
• Secretarial Assistant: Rs.23,910 – 85,570/-
• Junior Technician:  Rs.18,780 – 67,390/-
