What is the objective of PM Ujjwala Yojana 3.0?

Eligibility for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 3.0
The women who could not avail the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana due to some reason, the government is once again providing them an opportunity to apply under the scheme but before that women will have to match their eligibility with some specific eligibility which is as follows –
- The benefit of PM Ujjwala Yojana 3.0 will be given to those women who are permanent residents of India.
- If women have not been able to apply in the first and second phase of PM Ujjwala Yojana, then they will be given an opportunity to apply in the third phase.
- To apply, the minimum age of the woman applying should be 18 years.
- This scheme is beneficial for ration card holder women.
- For this, the woman should not already have any gas connection.
- The annual income of the woman’s family in rural area should be less than ₹1,00,000 and in urban area it should be less than ₹2,00,000.
- Women belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, SC/ST category will be eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme.

How to apply online for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 3.0

- First of all, you have to visit the official website of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 3.0 ( PMUY ) www.pmuy.gov.in.
- Now you will reach the official home page of the scheme.
- After reaching the main page, you have to click on the option “ Apply for New Ujjwala 3.0 Connection ” given in it.
- On clicking this option, you will reach the new page where you will see the following three agencies from which you will have to select one –
- Indane
- Bharat gas
- HP Gas
- After selecting the company, you will have to go to the Bharat Gas connection website by selecting Bharat Gas.
- When you reach the home page of the new website, here you will get the option of “Ujjawala 3.0 New Connection” on which you have to click.
- Now you have to tick Hereby Declare, select the state and district and click on “Show List” option.
- Then you will see the list of all the distributors of your district in a new page, from which you will have to select the nearest distributor and click on the “Continue” button.
- As soon as you continue, a new page will open in which you will have to enter your mobile number and captcha code and submit it.
- After doing this, the application form will open in front of you which will have to be filled carefully without any mistake.
- Once all the information is entered in the application form, the scanned copies of the required important documents have to be uploaded.
- After doing this, you will have to submit the application form by clicking on the submit button.
- After that you will get the option to print the application form, by clicking on which you can print the application form.
- After printing the application form, you will have to attach copies of important documents with it and submit it at the gas agency.
- After completing this whole process the application process will be completed, after which the documents including all the information given in your application form will be reviewed by the gas agency.
- If you are found eligible for the scheme then you will be provided with a free gas connection.
